Your website and an Android app, running off the same system. Customers get the same thing whichever one they open, and you only ever update it once. Quoted to the project, including Play Store release.
Ranges reflect scope, not uncertainty — your written quote lands on a single number and is held for 30 days. Prices exclude VAT; as a sole trader below the threshold, no VAT is charged.

Most studios put you on a monthly plan whether you need one or not. I do the opposite: you pay £25 an hour for the work you actually ask for, and if a job runs to a full eight-hour day it caps at £180. Nothing to cancel, nothing rolling over, no minimum spend. Built on Smooth scale or Big time? Your first ten hours are £15.

Pricing questions
There is no monthly fee. When you need work doing, I log the time and bill it at £25 per hour. If a job runs to a full day, it caps at the £180 day rate covering eight hours — whichever works out cheaper for you is the one you pay. Time logs are available on request.
Small jobs are billed in 15-minute blocks, so a quick copy change costs £6.25, not an hour. No minimum spend beyond that.
Eight hours at £25 comes to £200, so any block of eight hours or more is billed at the £180 day rate automatically. You never have to ask for it — I apply whichever is lower.
Build on Smooth scale or Big time and your first ten hours of maintenance are billed at £15 an hour instead of £25. Bigger builds tend to need a few tweaks once real customers start using them, and this keeps that first stretch cheap. After ten hours, the standard rate and day rate apply as normal.
Anything the site needs: content and copy updates, new pages or sections, bug fixes, dependency and security updates, performance tuning, SEO adjustments, seasonal design refreshes and new feature work. Hosting issues on builds I host are not billed.
No. You own the code outright on final payment, so you are free to take it elsewhere or handle it in-house. Maintenance exists because most clients would rather not — not because you are tied in.
A deposit of 30–50% is agreed in the written quote and paid before work commences. The balance is due on completion, before final files and credentials are handed over. Larger projects can be split into milestone payments instead.
Hosting is included at no extra cost on every package, on the same infrastructure this site runs on. There is no bandwidth meter and no upsell waiting at month three. The honest caveat is that it covers standard website hosting — a project needing something unusual, such as heavy video delivery or a dedicated database instance, would carry that third-party cost, and it would be itemised in your quote before you agree to anything.
For larger projects, yes. A deposit of 30–50% starts the work and the balance is due on completion, but anything at the upper end can be split into milestone payments agreed in writing at the outset — typically tied to design sign-off, build completion and launch.
